School Rules

1. School Timings:

Prep-I and Prep-II – 7:50 am to 12:20 pm
Class I & Class II – 7:30 am to 12:20 pm
Class III to Class XII – 7:30 am to 1:40 pm

Prep-I and Prep-II – 8:20 am to 12:50 pm
Class I & Class II – 8:00 am to 12:50 pm
Class III to Class XII – 8:00 am to 2:10 pm

2 . Guardians coming to drop their wards should be on time. No student shall be allowed entry into school after 7.30 am. Late comers may be penalized by detention/suspension from classes. Students who are late despite repeated warnings and reminders will be sent home.

3. Incase your child is unwell and not fit to come for the weekly tests, please send a leave note with a Medical Certificate for follow up within 2 days of rejoining. Under no circumstances will the child be permitted to go home after the weekly tests.

4. Please do not go to the classes directly or send for your ward or for any pupil through any peon during school hours for any reason whatsoever. Unless there is an emergency, request from parents for short leave for their wards is not appreciated.

5. Ensure that earliest possible action is taken by you on the letters sent from the school from time to time.

6. Parents are requested to send only toffees/sweets value not exceeding Rs 10/- to celebrate their child’s birthday. Students from Class III upwards are not allowed to wear coloured clothes on birthdays.

7. Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones, ipods, music systems or any other form of electronic gadgets or large amounts of money to school.

8. Ensure that any correspondence addressed by you to the school, bears your ward’s admission number, class and section to facilitate early disposal at our end.

9. Any change in the residential address, designation, telephone number and other details given at the time of admission should be immediately intimated by written application to the school office.

10. Please note that collection and distribution of lunch packets and other such articles is not the responsibility of the school.

11. Only an authorized person is permitted to take photographs on any school function and that you are requested not to click cameras on such occasions.

12. Please note that no child may be taken home during school hours unless there is an emergency, in which case the Principal may be approached for permission.

13. The following are not permitted in school with NO EXCEPTIONS-hair colouring, perming, mehendi, nail polish, body tattoos, kajal, eyeliner, perfumes, deodorants, hair-gel, nose-rings, bangles, expensive watches, fancy accessories etc.

14. You are requested to be vigilant and keep a check on the kind of literature, CD/DVD, website being read and viewed by your ward.

15. Chewing gum, “Pan Masala” or any other form of addiction, irregular attendance, disobedience, misconduct, or any other form of verbal / written demonstration of obscenity , using unfair means in examination, damage to school’s/other’s property, use of foul language, causing physical harm to others, bullying , rowdiness, misconduct in the school will lead to stern disciplinary action. Repeated misconduct may call for suspension from school or a TC may be served.

16. It is compulsory for all students to speak in English within the school campus.

17. Telephonic conversation with teachers during school hours is NOT ALLOWED.

18. Parents are directed not to enter class rooms to see their children or teachers during school hours. They can meet teachers on PTM days or at a time fixed by prior appointment.

19. Leave for half day should not be asked for, for security reasons. In emergency, written permission must be taken from the principal through the class teacher.

20. Any communication made by the parents/Guardian should be address to the principal through the class teacher. The address and phone number, admission number, class and the section of the child should be clearly mentioned in the application.

21. Parents and guardians will appreciate that absence during the terms/WT is not the best interest of the student. Hence, applying for leave should be an exception rather than an accepted practice.

22. Rendering false or misleading information or withholding correct information may disqualify the child for admission or continuing education in the school.

23. Parents there wards, for better functioning of the school must follow the rules, regulation and procedures laid down by the school from time to time and should be very careful in the behavior and conduct with teachers, members of the school staff and management. Their behavior should never be such as to compromise the dignity and self respect of the above mentioned persons. If violated, the decision of the school Disciplinary committee would be final. The deterrent decided upon by the said committee could, in extreme cases, be the issuing of a TC (transfer Certificate).

24. Parents and Guardian are directed to read and explain the school rules to their wards.

25. Parents should make careful note of various details regarding the payment of school fees.

26. Student reporting to the school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a medical certificate.

27. No shouting or whistling is allowed in or around the school building. Running in corridors is strictly prohibited.

28. Bicycles must be kept locked. Students will not ride bicycles inside the school compound. Scooter, Scooty, Motorcycle etc are not allowed in the school compound.

29. Bursting crackers or splashing colours during Diwali/Holi in the school premises its strictly forbidden. Non compliance of these instructions can result in expulsion from the school.

30. During game period students must go in line from the class to the play ground within 2 to 3 minutes.
